Hello church,

I’m excited to tell you about an upcoming opportunity. John Piper, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church and author of Desiring God, along with many other books, is coming to SLO! He will be preaching here during the weekend of March 28-30, at two events.

First, the Desiring God Regional Conference will be held at the PAC on March 28-29. This conference will be focused on the theme of Piper’s book, Don’t Waste Your Life. Seating is limited, but we have reserved a number of tickets for our members, so please contact the church office if you are interested!

Also, on Sunday, March 30, Pastor John will be speaking at Mott Gym on the Cal Poly Campus to college students—for free! This event will run from 7:00p until 8:30p; doors will open at 6:00p. For this evening, we’re sending our Celebration services to go hear the message Pastor John will be bringing.

Take advantage of these events! Dr. Piper is a widely respected teacher and author, and this is a rare opportunity!
