As a parent, you want to make sure that your kids learn to know and love God, and grow up to maturity. In our Children's Ministries, kids can enjoy a fun atmosphere that you can count on to be God-focused. At FBCSLO we are committed to make the time that kids spend with us the best, most exciting and memorable hours of their week. We focus on building a strong foundation, rooted in God's Word, so they can begin a life-long adventure with God.
CM exists to share Jesus Christ with the children of our community, to work as a team of Christians, encouraging kids toward action for God, guiding them to rejoice always in worship and striving to train them toward spiritual maturity.
Kid's Programs
Sundays:
- Sunday School, during 10:30a service: Kids start in our main service with a special kids-focus with our pastor, then head down to the Children's Center for Bible teaching in classrooms by grade. (Pre-K—6th grade)
- Nursery is available for infants and toddlers during the service
Mid-Week Programs:
- Kid's Club, Wednesdays 6:30–8:30p: High energy exploration of God's Word! 1st–6th Grade
- Parent's Night Out, third Friday 6:00p–9:00p: Kids and their friends enjoy a night of fun and games in the Children's Center while parents get a night out! Preschool—6th Grade
Serving in CM
We have a great team working with the children at our church—and there's a place for you! Whether you want to organize games, take photos, play with kids, or care for our littlest ones in the nursery, you can play a vital part in helping our kids know God!
