College
You're young. Stepping out into the world, on your own—and shaping your future. So what will your life be about?
What matters most to you? What will you look at? Think about? Desire? It makes a difference. Life is worship—no matter what, something is at the center of your heart.
FBC's College ministries aim to train you to treasure God most of all. We want to teach you not just to follow Jesus, but to delight in Him, also. Through building relationships with other students and men and women in our church, through teaching, worship, and small groups, we want to help you grow into the kind of person who is used by God, whatever your next step will be.
Get involved
- Celebration: 7:30pm, Sunday nights.
- TNT (Thursday Night Thing): Starts in late September. Each Thursday, we host a different event—bonfires, bowling, playing board games, sharing dinner together with families from our church. Everyone is welcome!
- College Bible Studies: Starts in late September. We have small groups for college men and women. To get involved, get in touch with Steve and Anne Sanchez, college@fbcslo.org
- Falliday (Fall College Retreat): Nov 11–13, we're getting away together for a weekend retreat out by Lopez Lake. Mark your calendar!
- Apprentice Class: Starts the first week of October. One of the main ways we intend to help you become a student of Jesus is through this nine-month class (it fits within the Cal Poly school year, and we follow the Poly school schedule). This is a tremendous opportunity to learn how to live as Jesus would if he were in your place. Contact Pastor Ben Barczi for more infomation, ben@fbcslo.org
